
IRVINE, Calif., Feb 28, 2012 (BUSINESS WIRE) –
UC Irvine School of Law will host a Community Trivia Quest and auction
on Thursday, March 1, at the Newport Beach Marriott Hotel Spa.
WHAT: Funds raised for the UCI Law Public Interest Law Fund will
provide stipends for students working in public interest law firms
during the summer. The event includes cocktails, entertainment, heavy
hors d’oeuvres, and silent and live auctions.
WHO: The eight teams competing in the trivia contest are AAA
Automobile Club of Southern California; the Dean’s Cabinet; Experian;
Federal Bar Association, Orange County Chapter; Irvine Company; Kia
Motors America, Inc.; Oakley; and Team Law Order. The Master of
Ceremonies is Sen. Joe Dunn (ret.), executive director of the State Bar
of California.
