PIMCO is pleased to announce the promotion of 23 to Executive Vice
President, 47 to Senior Vice President and 83 to Vice President.

The Executive Vice Presidents are:
Myles E. Bradshaw, CFA
Mr. Bradshaw is an executive vice president
and portfolio manager in the London office. His main focus is
European macro strategy and in particular the evolution and
investment implications of the Eurozone sovereign debt crisis. He is
also a permanent member of the European Portfolio Committee. Prior to
joining PIMCO in 2007, he worked at Threadneedle Investment Managers
for six years, managing global and sterling bond portfolios. Mr.
Bradshaw started his career as an economist at HM Treasury, where he
worked for three years. He has 13 years of investment experience and
holds an undergraduate degree from Oxford University.
Kumaran K. Damodaran
Mr. Damodaran is an executive vice president
and emerging markets portfolio manager in the Newport Beach office.
He is also a member of the Global Advantage portfolio management team
and was previously a global portfolio manager. Prior to joining PIMCO
in 2008, he was a senior vice president at Lehman Brothers, trading
Latin American local currency derivatives. He previously held various
trading roles at Credit Suisse in Latin American and emerging
European markets, spanning currency, interest rate and credit
derivatives markets. He has 11 years of investment experience and
holds a Ph.D. in theoretical physics from the University of
Cambridge, where he was a British Marshall Scholar and a Graduate
Fellow of the National Science Foundation. He received his
undergraduate degree from Princeton University.
Martin E. Feeny, CFA
Mr. Feeny is an executive vice president and
account manager in the New York office, focusing on institutional
client servicing. In addition to his responsibilities as head of the
U.S. multiemployer servicing and business development group, he
manages new investment professionals in the account management
servicing group. Prior to joining PIMCO in 2004, he was in
institutional fixed income sales at Lehman Brothers, specializing in
government securities. Prior to that, he was an officer in the U.S.
Marine Corps and achieved the rank of captain. He has nine years of
investment experience and holds an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School
of Management. He earned his undergraduate degree at Yale University.
Alessandro Gandolfi
Mr. Gandolfi is an executive vice president and
head of Italy for PIMCO Europe. Prior to joining PIMCO in 2006 as
head of business development in Italy, he was in charge of
institutional asset management for Sanpaolo IMI Group’s asset
management division. Previously, he was responsible for
IMI-Fideuram’s investment strategy development for Italy’s emerging
pension fund management industry. He has 14 years of investment
experience and holds an undergraduate degree from Bocconi University
in Milan.
Jared B. Gross
Mr. Gross is an executive vice president in the
Newport Beach office and a product manager for the liability driven
investments and solutions groups. He focuses on asset allocation and
asset liability management strategies for pension funds and other
institutional investors. Prior to joining PIMCO in 2008, he was a
senior relationship manager in Lehman Brothers’ pension solutions
group, working with large corporate and public pension plans in the
U.S. He held a similar position at Goldman Sachs. Mr. Gross also
spent five years in Washington, D.C.: two years as an advisor to the
executive director on investment policy at the Pension Benefit
Guaranty Corporation and three years at the Treasury department,
focusing on debt financing and management and domestic securities
market issues. He has 18 years of investment experience and holds an
undergraduate degree from Williams College.
Nicholas J. Johnson
Mr. Johnson is an executive vice president in
the Newport Beach office and a portfolio manager focusing on
commodities. He joined PIMCO in 2004 and previously managed the
portfolio analyst group. Prior to joining PIMCO, he worked at NASA’s
Jet Propulsion Laboratory, developing Mars missions and new methods
of autonomous navigation. He has seven years of investment experience
and holds a master’s degree in financial mathematics from the
University of Chicago and an undergraduate degree from California
Polytechnic State University.
Tracey Vallarta Jordal
Ms. Jordal is an executive vice president in
the New York office and an attorney in PIMCO’s Legal and Compliance
department where she is head of the counterparty transactional
management team. Ms. Jordal oversees and advises PIMCO’s global
offices with respect to derivatives and forward/financing related
transactions and agreements, as well as any related regulatory
issues. Ms. Jordal is also an active participant in various industry
initiatives on behalf of PIMCO with respect to the recent regulatory
requirements regarding central clearing of derivatives, both in the
US and Europe. She serves as a member of various advisory boards,
steering committees and working groups of leading industry trade
associations such as International Swap and Derivatives Association
(ISDA), SIFMA Asset Managers Group (SIFMA/AMG) and Investment Company
Institute (ICI). Prior to joining PIMCO in 2002, Ms. Jordal was a
member of the legal department at Deutsche Bank AG, working on a
variety of derivative matters for the corporate/investment banking
and asset management divisions. She has over 17 years of legal and
financial services experience and holds a J.D. from Brooklyn Law
School and a bachelor’s degree from Connecticut College.
Richard R. LeBrun
Mr. LeBrun is an executive vice president and
attorney in the legal and compliance department in the Newport Beach
office. Prior to joining PIMCO in 2005, he was an associate with
Ropes Gray, focusing on investment management and private
equity-related matters. He has 12 years of legal experience and holds
a J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School. He received an
undergraduate degree from Northwood University. He was admitted to
the bar in Massachusetts and New York.
Rene Martel, CFA
Mr. Martel is an executive vice president and
product manager in the Newport Beach office. He focuses on
liability-driven investments, including long duration and pension
products, and is also a member of PIMCO’s investment solutions team.
Prior to joining PIMCO in 2006, he was responsible for conducting
asset-liability modeling and recommending risk management strategies
for pension plan sponsors at Mercer Investment Consulting. He also
advised institutional clients on asset allocation, investment policy
and investment manager selection. Previously, Mr. Martel was in the
actuarial practice of Mercer Human Resource Consulting, advising
pension plan sponsors on funding, accounting and plan design matters.
He has 11 years of investment experience and holds an undergraduate
degree in actuarial science from Laval University. Mr. Martel also
holds the Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) designation.
Peter Matheos
Mr. Matheos is an executive vice president, senior
financial engineer and head of portfolio analytics and model
valuation in the Newport Beach office. Prior to joining PIMCO in
2010, he was with Wilshire Associates for 11 years, most recently as
senior managing director and head of fixed income analytics. He also
served on the Board of Directors there. He has 13 years of investment
and financial services experience and holds a Ph.D. in pure
mathematics from the University of California, Los Angeles. He
received a bachelor’s degree in pure mathematics from the University
of Chicago.
Mohit Mittal
Mr. Mittal is an executive vice president and
portfolio manager in the Newport Beach office. He currently helps
manage Investment Grade Credit portfolios focusing on both cash bonds
and credit derivatives, with prior experience as a specialist on
PIMCO’s Interest Rates and Derivatives desk. He holds an MBA in
Finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and
an undergraduate degree in Computer Science from Indian Institute of
Technology (IIT) in Delhi, India.
John W. Murray
Mr. Murray is an executive vice president in the
Newport Beach office and a portfolio manager focusing on commercial
real estate, including commercial mortgage-backed securities. Prior
to joining PIMCO in 2009, he structured real estate transactions
throughout the U.S. at JER Partners. Mr. Murray was previously in
commercial real estate development and construction and also served
for three years as a combat engineer officer with the U.S. Army. He
has 12 years of commercial real estate and investment experience and
holds an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of
Pennsylvania. He also holds a master’s degree in civil engineering
from MIT and a bachelor’s degree from Lehigh University.
Robin Nabors
Ms. Nabors is an executive vice president in the
Newport Beach office within PIMCO’s human resources department. She
is responsible for leading the global human resources consulting team
and implementing PIMCO’s talent management initiatives globally.
Prior to joining PIMCO in 2007, she was with UBS as a director in
human resources based in their New York, Zurich and London offices in
various human resource functions. She holds an undergraduate degree
from the University of South Carolina and has 14 years of financial
services experience.
Matt J. Nest, CFA
Mr. Nest is an executive vice president and
account manager in the Hong Kong office. He previously worked for
PIMCO in Sydney, Singapore and the U.S. as an associate, portfolio
and product manager for the global portfolio management team. Prior
to joining PIMCO in 1999, he was with Bank of America’s foreign
exchange department. He has 13 years of investment experience and
holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
Krishnamoorthy Narasimhan
Mr. Narasimhan is an executive vice
president in the Newport Beach office and global structured
finance/credit specialist in PIMCO’s Advisory group. Prior to joining
PIMCO in 2010, he was senior director and head of CRE/CMBS valuation
in the credit advisory group of Algorithmics, a subsidiary of Fitch.
Mr. Narasimhan has also worked as a strategist at JPMorgan, and in
the Quantitative Financial Research Group at Fitch Ratings. He was
also an adjunct professor at Baruch College, CUNY and the University
of Maryland. Mr. Narasimhan has worked on and written several
publications on modeling credit risk across a variety of assets
classes including corporates, sovereign and CMBS/CMBX tranches.
Before starting his investment career, he was on the faculty of the
finance department at the Wharton School of the University of
Pennsylvania. He holds a Ph.D. in finance from Duke University.
Gillian O’Connell
Ms. O’Connell is an executive vice president and
manager of operations for PIMCO Europe Ltd in the London office.
Prior to joining PIMCO in 2000, she was with the asset management and
internal audit divisions of Salomon Brothers. She previously worked
with Citicorp, Arthur Andersen and Arthur Young. She has 24 years of
investment experience and holds an undergraduate degree from
University College Dublin. She is a Chartered Accountant and member
of the U.K. Securities Institute.
Lupin Rahman
Ms. Rahman is an executive vice president on the
emerging markets portfolio management team in the Newport Beach
office, specializing in sovereign credit analysis and foreign
exchange strategy. Prior to joining PIMCO in 2008, she spent five
years at the International Monetary Fund as an emerging markets
macroeconomist focusing on external sustainability, exchange rate
assessments, and crises vulnerability. Before joining the IMF she was
an economist working for the World Bank, STICERD, and Center for
Economic Performance. She has 13 years of investment experience and
holds a Ph.D. in economics from the London School of Economics.
Yiannis Repoulis, CFA
Mr. Repoulis is an executive vice president
and an account manager in the Munich office. He joined PIMCO in 1998
in London to focus on the development of European client servicing.
In 2005, he transferred to Munich to initiate client servicing
efforts out of Germany. Prior to joining PIMCO in 1998, Mr. Repoulis
was with EFG Private Bank. He has 16 years of investment experience
and holds an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at
Northwestern University. He also holds a master’s degree in
international political economy and a bachelor’s degree in economics
from the London School of Economics.
Stacy L. Schaus
Ms. Schaus is an executive vice president in the
Newport Beach office and leads PIMCO’s Defined Contribution Practice.
Prior to joining PIMCO in 2006, she was a founder and president of
Hewitt Financial Services, which includes DC investment consulting
and research as well as brokerage and personal finance. She has
written extensively on defined contribution issues, including the
regular publication PIMCO DC Dialogue(TM) and her 2010 book,
Designing Successful Target-Date Strategies for Defined Contribution
Plans. Ms. Schaus has been named by 401k Wire as among the 100 most
influential leaders in defined contribution for 2009, 2010 and 2011.
She is the founding chair for the Defined Contribution Institutional
Investment Association, serves on the board of the Employee Benefit
Research Institute and is a past member of the Financial Planning
Association board. She has 30 years of investment experience and
holds an MBA from the Stern School of Business at New York University
and an undergraduate degree from the University of California, Santa
Barbara.
Scott P. Steele, CFA
Mr. Steele is an executive vice president in
the New York City office and a member of PIMCO’s global wealth
management team. He is responsible for leading the team’s research
and discretionary platform coverage for product and vehicle offerings
such as mutual funds, ETFs, private funds, alternative investments
and asset allocation. Prior to joining PIMCO in 2008, he was chief
investment officer for the mutual fund arm of a major Canadian
financial institution. He has 23 years of investment experience and
holds a bachelor of commerce degree from the University of Toronto.
Michael Thompson
Mr. Thompson is an executive vice president in the
Singapore office and head of the wealth management group in Asia
ex-Japan. The group focuses on building distribution relationships
with financial institutions that outsource to third party managers on
the basis of open, guided or managed architecture. Previously, Mr.
Thompson was head of European institutional remarketing and based in
PIMCO’s London office. Prior to joining PIMCO in 2006, he was
responsible for U.K. business development and marketing at Western
Asset Management Company. He has 17 years of investment experience
and holds an undergraduate degree in economics and law from the
University of Natal in South Africa.
Melissa Tuttle
Ms. Tuttle is an executive vice president and equity
trader in the London office. Prior to joining PIMCO in 2010, she was
an executive director for active equity trading at Goldman Sachs
Asset Management International, where she was responsible for
developed market and emerging market equity, future, swap and ETF
execution. Ms. Tuttle previously worked as a vice president in equity
trading for Prudential Investments. Early in her career she was a
trader for emerging market equities at HSBC Asset Management and a
junior trader for the Latin American equities team at Baring America
Asset Management. She has 20 years of investment and financial
services experience and holds a bachelor’s degree from Emmanuel
College in Boston.
Marco van Akkeren
Mr. van Akkeren is an executive vice president in
the Newport Beach office and a portfolio manager focusing on asset-
