The School of Law is one of three Schools which makes up the Faculty of Business, Economics and Law. The School provides a broad range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs. The School is known for the achievements and quality of its graduates, its clinic programs, the international opportunities offered to its students and its collegial and friendly environment.
The position
As a Level A academic you will be expected to work with support and guidance from senior academic staff and you will be expected to develop expertise in teaching and research with an increasing degree of autonomy. You will work with subject coordinators to develop high quality learning experiences for students through the conduct of tutorials, practical classes, and workshops as well as develop research publications relative to experience.
The candidate
To succeed, you will have completed or be near to substantial completion, of a higher degree at Masters level or above and will have demonstrated capacity for teaching excellence and innovation, including use of new technologies to enhance teaching and learning. You will demonstrate your high level communication and interpersonal skills which will assist in developing and maintaining community linkages and demonstrate your ability to teach the core undergraduate program and be interested in developing research publications. A willingness to undertake a PhD is essential to be considered for this position.
